Welcome to Headwaters

CarolineGottschalkDruschke_1_8.20.17Dr. Caroline Gottschalk Druschke directs an interdisciplinary group of researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison working at the intersection of public engagement and freshwater ecosystems. Through a solid foundation in the study of rhetoric, we build critical theory and conduct social and ecological research about stream restoration, flooding, fisheries management, and watershed-based agricultural conservation. We take a community-based, equity-informed approach to better understand and intervene in dynamic, multispecies aquatic systems.
